The state’s dominant land uses in the agricultural areas is in the raising of cattle, hogs,
dairy cattle and poultry. Crop raised in this state include apples, peaches, corn, vegetables
(truck farming), sweet corn, wheat, soybeans, sweet potatoes, fruit and tobacco. The
state also harvests some of its forest products. The minerals found in the state are Natural
Gas, Coal, Clay and Limestone.
